About The Position
LaunchTech is seeking a junior help desk professional to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. The role provides technical support that helps keep mission-critical operations running smoothly. Travel of up to 10% is required.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of general full-time work experience; this requirement may be reduced with completion of advanced education.
- At least 6 months of IT experience.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or higher by the employment start date, such as CompTIA Security+ CE.
- An active DoW Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
Nice To Haves
- ITILv3 Foundations certification.
- Remedy experience.
- Desktop support, service desk/help desk, or call center experience.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to provide technical resolutions.
- Provide remote troubleshooting support for break-fix issues.
- Provide escalations and status updates to MDA customers.
- Provide technical support for enterprise projects that affect Service Desk workflows.
- Resolve daily battle rhythm tasks.
- Track all work using the Remedy ticketing system.
- Use the knowledge database to assist customers.
