About The Position

The Jr. Front-End Developer will develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications. The role requires proficiency in jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, HTML, and Content Management Systems (CMS). The developer will work with the design team and backend developers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. The position is remote, requires Korean and English bilingual ability, and is a contract from now through December 31, 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Front-End Developer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Korean and English bilingual ability.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools and package managers such as Webpack and npm.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement web application user interfaces using jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to convert mockups and wireframes into responsive, interactive web pages.
• Optimize web applications for speed and scalability.
• Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and maintain code quality.
• Keep up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Integrate web applications with CMS platforms and third-party APIs as needed.
