Jr. Data Engineer
About The Position
Full Visibility is seeking a Jr. Data Engineer to be responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application. This includes developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software, facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies. The role involves establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data. The engineer will also design strategies for enterprise database systems and set standards for operations, programming, and security, as well as design and construct large relational databases, integrate new systems with existing warehouse structure, and refine system performance and functionality.
Requirements
- ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance.
- Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or in lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Java
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with Spark / Scala
- Experience with SQL / PLSQL
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with NiFi
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Data pipelines (development, optimization, & tuning)
