Requirements

  • Experience in route sales, call centers, or inside sales.
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Ability to write effective follow-up emails.
  • Proficiency with Google/Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with a CRM (like Salesforce or ZoomInfo) is a plus.
  • Resilience and ability to handle objections.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel 50% to cover territory and meet clients face-to-face.

Responsibilities

  • Research and qualify leads for janitorial and specialty service lines.
  • Drive the sales pipeline through outbound cold calling.
  • Secure first in-person meetings with potential clients.
  • Deliver digital and in-person presentations to showcase services.
  • Support the AVP in closing contracts.
  • Identify upsell opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Represent The Budd Group at trade shows, networking events, and community gatherings.
