About The Position

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969. Located in Calgary & Leduc with projects throughout Western Canada, we are a leader in the industry for turn-key new construction, maintenance and prefabrication. We are looking for Journeyman Welder, Camp / LOA with accommodations provided and flat rate to cover travel - typically covers flights, or travel by vehicle. We offer 2 shifts, 14/ 7 or 8/6.

Requirements

• Journeyman Welding certification
• WHMIS 2015, CSO, Standard First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection
• Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing
• BC Class A Certification

Nice To Haves

• Oil and gas experience preferred, not required
• comfortable working in all weather conditions
