About The Position

Noble is looking for motivated candidates to join our team as a journeyperson during shutdown. The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help maintain and complete shutdown. The positions are a 1-month term.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid class 5 license
  • Journeyman or Apprentice Millwright
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Mill experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operating various pieces of equipment
  • Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies
  • Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision
  • Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tank, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools
  • Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
  • Operate machine tools such as grinders, impacts, etc, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
