Journeyman Service Plumber

Requirements

• 3–5 years of plumbing service experience
• Active Journeyman Plumber license
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• A professional attitude and pride in your workmanship
• The ability to work independently while being a strong team player

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems — From water heaters and fixtures to piping and drainage systems, you’ll find the problem and determine the right solution.
• Repair & maintain systems — Handle routine service, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs with confidence.
• Talk with customers — Explain plumbing issues and recommended solutions clearly, honestly, and professionally.
• Document your work — Complete service tickets and job documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Follow the rules — Perform work according to local plumbing codes, company standards, and safety procedures.
• Representing the company — Keep your work area, tools, and company vehicle clean, organized, and professional.
• Keep getting better — Stay current with new technology, products, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training.
