Journeyman Plumber - Residential Remodeling
About The Position
West Shore Home is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to support residential remodeling projects in Hartford, Connecticut. Working alongside the Installation Manager, Lead Installers, and Operations team, this role helps keep projects running smoothly while following safety practices and supporting a high-quality customer experience. The Journeyman Plumber assists the local Master Plumber with emergency response, service calls, and job site inspections during normal business hours. The role also supports installation quality through on-site inspections, permit reviews, and pre-installation assessments, and helps train and develop installation teams. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a 6:30 AM start time. The approximate pay range is $35.00–$55.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Hold an active P2 Connecticut License in good standing for the designated territory.
- Have a passion for using plumbing expertise to develop the skills of others.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have a valid smartphone or smart device to access company-required systems using two-factor authentication.
Responsibilities
- Assist the local Master Plumber with emergency response, service calls, and job site inspections during normal business hours.
- Conduct on-site inspections, review permits, and complete pre-installation assessments to support installation quality.
- Partner with Installation Managers and the Master Plumber to train and develop Installation teams.
- Stay up to date on plumbing codes, industry advancements, and company installation processes.
- Complete ongoing training and maintain license reporting.
- Perform additional duties to support smooth branch operations.
