About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Plumber to join our residential remodeling team specializing in bathroom renovations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in residential plumbing systems, fixture installation, drain and water line modifications, and remodeling projects. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with project managers, electricians, carpenters, and other trades.

Requirements

Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License.
Minimum 3–5 years of residential plumbing experience, preferably in remodeling.
Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
Experience with bathroom remodeling projects and fixture installations.
Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Proficient in soldering, PVC/CPVC installation, PEX systems, and drain-waste-vent systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass background screening and drug testing, if required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-end residential remodeling projects.
Knowledge of tankless water heaters and modern plumbing technologies.
OSHA safety training or certification.
Experience using field service software (CRM).

Responsibilities

Perform plumbing installations and modifications for residential bathroom remodeling projects.
Install, repair, and replace water supply lines, drain systems, vents, and plumbing fixtures.
Rough-in plumbing systems according to project plans and local building codes.
Install tubs, showers, toilets, vanities, sinks, faucets, and related fixtures.
Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues encountered during remodeling projects.
Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, and system inspections.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing regulations.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project schedules.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project progress and plumbing-related questions.
Complete required documentation, work orders, and inspection reports.
Assist with obtaining permits and coordinating inspections as needed.
Operate and maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and company vehicles safely.
