Requirements

  • Journeyman Plumber license or applicable state/local credentials
  • Proven experience in residential service plumbing
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and troubleshooting
  • Experience installing and servicing tankless water heaters
  • Experience with water heaters, sump pumps, toilets, faucets, valves, drains, piping, and other residential plumbing systems
  • Ability to accurately diagnose plumbing issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a high-performing team
  • Clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential service plumbing calls and provide exceptional customer experiences
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems
  • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, tankless water heaters, pumps, and other plumbing equipment
  • Identify plumbing issues and recommend the best solution for the homeowner
  • Present repair and replacement options and sell plumbing work when appropriate
  • Generate revenue through completed service tickets while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship
  • Accurately document completed work, recommendations, materials, and customer interactions
  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and service vehicle
  • Follow all company safety procedures, plumbing codes, and quality standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, management, and other team members
  • Collaborate with our Water Treatment Division and other departments to identify opportunities to better serve our customers
  • Help mentor and develop less-experienced plumbers and technicians
  • Represent CGC Home Services professionally in the community and inside customers' homes
