About The Position
Sandoval Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support commercial and residential construction projects in the San Antonio area. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and project specifications. Requirements
- Journeyman Plumber license required
- 3+ years of plumbing experience in commercial and/or residential construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding jobsite conditions
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping in commercial and residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing specifications
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues, leaks, or code concerns
- Perform installations of water supply lines, drainage systems, and related plumbing components
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades on jobsite activities
- Ensure all plumbing work is completed according to local codes, safety standards, and company expectations
- Test plumbing systems for proper functionality and make adjustments as needed
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in an organized and safe manner
- Document completed work and communicate project progress or field issues to supervisors
- Assist in maintaining clean, professional, and safe jobsites
