About The Position

This position is awaiting contract award. We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Journeyman Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Analyst to join our team supporting international defense cooperation and sustainment programs for the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River. In this mid-level role, you will play a central part in executing, tracking, and optimizing active FMS cases for global partner nations. Working under the guidance of Case Managers, Program Managers, and Team Leads, you will ensure that all facets of international casework comply with security cooperation frameworks, driving lifecycle sustainment for critical heavy-lift aviation platforms.

Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance to access the airfield and military installation.
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3 to 10 years of direct experience in DoD acquisition, financial tracking, international programs, or security cooperation management performing the functional duties described above.
  • A solid working understanding of the SAMM, ITAR, and NAVAIR international program structures.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, excellent interpersonal communication, high attention to detail, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for tracking and presenting case data.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute directly to the operational efforts and daily actions of the Case Manager, Program Managers, and Team Leads to streamline FMS case lifecycles from inception to closure.
  • Analyze and manage FMS casework in strict accordance with the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • Cross-reference case objectives and deliverables with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition policy guidance to maintain alignment with program milestones.
  • Partner with cross-functional members of the broader Security Cooperation team, including engineering, logistics, and finance, to track action items and resolve programmatic bottlenecks.
  • Gather, organize, and interpret international program data to assist Case Managers in developing price and availability (P&A) data, Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs), and formal status briefs.
