About The Position

Plugz Electric is a fast-growing, high-end electrical shop based in Forest Lake, MN, serving the Twin Cities metro and surrounding areas. We are a family-oriented environment that moves quick, has fun, and genuinely invests in our crew. We are looking for an elite licensed Journeyman Electrician to lead residential home service projects across the metro. You will be the face of our craftsmanship—handling high-quality installations, diagnostic troubleshooting, and electrical repairs while mentoring the next generation of apprentices on the job. We are looking for someone who takes elite pride in their craftsmanship, shows up early, and wants to be paid what they are actually worth.

Requirements

Valid Minnesota Journeyman Electrician License (Required)
Proven Residential Field Experience with strong technical troubleshooting skills.
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Physical Stamina: Ability to navigate residential job sites, stand for long periods, and lift heavy equipment/materials.
Strong understanding of code, professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and a zero-shortcuts attitude.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, fixtures, and control equipment to impeccable standards.
Maintain a pristine, safe, and highly organized work environment on every job site.
Read blueprints, sketches, and plans to accurately map out electrical requirements and material needs.
Provide accurate bids for work orders and interact with homeowners, suppliers, and builders with absolute professionalism.
Take pride in training and developing apprentices on-site to maintain the Plugz standard.
