This role involves performing electrical installations and troubleshooting on large, long-term commercial and multi-family projects. Requirements

CA Certified Journeyman Electrician certification.
Proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
Excellent working knowledge of Building Codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, with overtime and night shifts as required.
Ability to perform essential job functions including crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching.
Ability to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
Ability to push and pull objects.
Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
Physical work constitutes more than 70% of the job.

Nice To Haves

State Journeyman Electrician Certification is considered highly desirable in states without this requirement.

Responsibilities

Assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
Preparation of work areas for equipment installation.
Installation of electrical components.
Connection of wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
Operation of equipment only if trained and certified (e.g., powder-activated tools, JLG lifts).
Setup and operation of tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
Reading blueprints and electrical drawings and installing as specified.
Verification of dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
Securing and locking up equipment after use.
