This role involves performing electrical installations and troubleshooting on large, long-term commercial and multi-family projects. The initial two years are expected to be on a prevailing wage project in Mammoth Lakes, with shared housing and a small per diem provided. Requirements

CA Certified Journeyman Electrician certification.
Proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
Excellent working knowledge of Building Codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

State Journeyman Electrician Certification is considered highly desirable in states without this requirement.

Responsibilities

Assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
Preparing work areas for equipment installation.
Installing electrical components.
Connecting wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
Operating equipment only if trained and certified (e.g., powder-activated tools, JLG lifts).
Setting up and operating tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, and cable vacuum systems.
Reading blueprints and electrical drawings and installing as specified.
Verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
Securing and locking up equipment after use.
