About The Position

They are building a vertically integrated home electrification company to make clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable. This role is for individuals in Columbia, MD with extensive residential electrical installation experience. The position involves improving processes and procedures for high quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will work as part of a crew to remove gas furnaces, install electric heat pump systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance the product and streamline the installation process.

Requirements

Extensive residential retrofit experience required
Journeyman/Licensed electrician in Columbia, Maryland and surrounding areas preferred but other licenses or certifications considered
Well versed in newer technologies like SMART panels, splitters, sub-panels, to optimize when faced with main panel or full service upgrades
Well versed in modern residential electrical building codes
Strong knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in electrical work
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
Valid driver's license
