About The Position
Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY The Journeyman Electrician's primary duties are to plan, layout, install and/or repair cable, conduit and equipment. This position will report to Foreman or Superintendent or other designated field leaders.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid NC JW License
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and instructions
- Must be able to positively identify wire colors and sizes
- Must have a working knowledge of NED and common trade procedures and standards
- Must be able to perform work safely with required PPE
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
- Must be able to climb and work off ladders and other elevated surfaces such as lifts
- Must possess the minimum required tools for SE&M
- Must have reliable transportation to and from jobsite
Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, switch boards, and other electrical equipment.
- Pulling wire and terminating
- Conduit bending, cutting, threading and installation
- Trouble shoot and repair electrical systems
- Install light fixtures and devices
