The role involves performing electrical installations and troubleshooting on large, long-term commercial and multi-family projects. Requirements

CA Certified Journeyman Electrician certification (required in states where mandated, highly desirable elsewhere).
Proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget.
Excellent working knowledge of Building Codes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assembly, installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
Preparation of work areas for equipment installation.
Installation of electrical components.
Connecting wiring and equipment according to code and job specifications.
Operating equipment only if trained and certified (e.g., powder-activated tools, JLG lifts).
Setting up and operating tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers, and cable vacuum systems.
Reading blueprints and electrical drawings and installing as specified.
Verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances per drawings or plans.
Securing and locking up equipment after use.
