Your Impact As a Journeyman Electrician, Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems used in the production of mission-critical infrastructure solutions. Your expertise will help ensure electrical assemblies are built safely, efficiently, and in compliance with customer requirements, applicable codes, and Accelevation quality standards. Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and other skilled trades, you will help resolve technical issues, support continuous improvement efforts, and serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced electricians and production team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 4 years of electrical experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, modular construction, data center infrastructure, or similar environments
  • Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program where required by state or local regulations
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician license where required by applicable law
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles, electrical construction practices, and applicable electrical codes
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, technical specifications, and work instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify workmanship issues and determine corrective actions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced manufacturing team
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities
  • Ability to operate personnel lifts and access equipment at varying heights
  • Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment, including threaders, wire tuggers, knockout punches, conduit benders, cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, and related equipment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform the physical requirements associated with electrical assembly and installation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule with overtime, alternate shifts, or night coverage as required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting data center infrastructure, switchgear, power distribution equipment, modular infrastructure, or industrial electrical systems
  • OSHA certification
  • NFPA 70E certification or training
  • Experience performing electrical inspections, testing, commissioning, or quality verification
  • Experience mentoring apprentices or training production employees

Responsibilities

  • Install electrical components and systems as part of the manufacturing and assembly process, including wiring, conduit, lighting, panels, controls, and related electrical equipment
  • Perform electrical work in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, customer specifications, and Accelevation quality standards
  • Inspect electrical systems and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process to verify proper installation, workmanship, functionality, and compliance
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues identified during assembly, testing, or quality inspections and implement corrective solutions
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of material, and technical documentation
  • Verify electrical installations align with engineering requirements and approved manufacturing specifications
  • Perform electrical testing and validation of completed assemblies prior to release from manufacturing
  • Identify electrical quality concerns and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to determine root cause and corrective actions
  • Respond quickly to production issues that impact quality, productivity, or delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with electricians, assemblers, technicians, engineers, and manufacturing leaders to support production goals
  • Communicate technical concerns, production status, material issues, and schedule impacts effectively
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to apprentices and less experienced team members
  • Support standardized work and continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and electrical safe work practices
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, equipment concerns, or work practices immediately
  • Properly use, inspect, and maintain electrical tools and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment consistent with 5S principles
  • Accurately document completed work, testing, materials used, rework activities, and production records
  • Support overtime, alternate shifts, and additional work assignments as needed to meet production demands
