Requirements

• Red Seal Certification (for Journeyman/Electrician).
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Honest and hard working.
• Physically capable of the work required.
• Possession of hand tools and drill/impact driver set.
• Punctual, consistent, and reliable.
• Strong desire to constantly learn and acquire new skills.
• Reside in or near Vancouver and be able to commute daily.

• Wood frame electrical construction experience.
• Steel frame electrical construction experience.
• Concrete electrical construction experience.
• Service electrical work experience.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, components, and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions using test equipment.
• Inspecting new installations and existing electrical systems to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Learning the basics of electrical work under the guidance of a licensed electrician (for apprentices).
• Learning how to read blueprints, install various applications, and troubleshoot electrical systems (for apprentices).
• Learning safety protocols and how to use necessary tools and equipment (for apprentices).
• Following instructions and working well with others (for apprentices).
