About The Position
Performs skilled concrete work to construct durable, accurate, and visually consistent structural elements. Applies established finishing techniques and technical knowledge to support safe and efficient project completion. Works under moderate supervision while collaborating with crew members and other trades to meet project standards. DPR describes its roles as commitments to building great things together. Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in concrete construction or a related field.
- Complete the OSHA 10 program within 6 months of hire.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.
Responsibilities
- Place, level, and finish concrete for slabs, walls, and structural components according to plans and specifications.
- Prepare and inspect formwork and reinforcement for proper alignment and cleanliness before placement.
- Mix, handle, and cure concrete to achieve required strength and appearance.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
- Follow DPR Construction safety and quality standards at all times.
- Coordinate with other trades and supervisors to sequence pours and address field issues.
- Identify and promptly report formwork, material, or safety concerns.
