About The Position

The Apprentice Concrete role learns and performs basic concrete tasks under close supervision. The apprentice assists with concrete preparation, placement, and finishing while gaining hands-on experience in safe work practices and concrete construction techniques. This position supports the crew and participates in training and on-the-job learning to develop technical and safety skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in concrete construction or a related trade.
• Complete the OSHA 10 program within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with form setup, concrete placement, and finishing under direct supervision.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
• Support the crew with basic concrete finishing and curing operations.
• Follow DPR Construction’s safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
• Participate in training and on-the-job learning to develop technical and safety skills.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and respond promptly to direction.
• Perform cleanup and assist with material handling as directed.
