About The Position

Learns and performs basic concrete tasks under close supervision. Assists with concrete preparation, placement, and finishing while gaining hands-on experience in safe work practices and concrete construction techniques. DPR expects employees to take ownership of outcomes, act in the best interest of the team, customer, project, and organization, and contribute through trust, shared leadership, open communication, disciplined action, and respect for individuals.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in concrete construction or a related trade.
• Complete the OSHA 10 program within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with form setup, concrete placement, and finishing under direct supervision.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
• Support the crew with basic concrete finishing and curing operations.
• Follow DPR Construction safety procedures and use required protective equipment.
• Participate in training and on-the-job learning to develop technical and safety skills.
• Communicate effectively with crew members and respond promptly to direction.
• Perform cleanup and assist with material handling as directed.
