About The Position

Skillforce is hiring skilled Commercial Journeyman Carpenters for work in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Candidates should have commercial construction experience, including FRP installation and finish work, along with strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work as part of a team. The work is scheduled for 40 hours per week on night shift for two weeks, at $30.00 per hour. Carpenters perform commercial carpentry tasks such as framing, formwork, rough-in, and finish work; install doors, hardware, casework, and trim; and read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. They use tools and construction equipment safely, ensure work meets specifications and safety and quality standards, and collaborate with other trades and project supervisors to meet deadlines.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required.
Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities
