About The Position

American National Insulation is hiring Journeyman Carpenters to install insulation and related materials and train helpers. The role involves following applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and/or project labor agreements, preparing for daily assignments, and working at local job sites with out-of-town travel as required. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required when operating a vehicle for company purposes.
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted to load and unload products.
Able to climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, and stand while performing daily work, including climbing ladders as needed.
Able to work in confined spaces and small areas.

Responsibilities

Practice best insulation practices and train insulation, plaster, sealer, and spray helpers.
Install products as allowed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or project labor agreement.
Understand blueprints and sketches.
Measure, shape, and cut materials to specified measurements.
Insulate, spray, plaster, trowel, seal, cover, wrap, staple, glue, and fit insulating, sealant, foam, and other materials.
Review the daily work schedule and ensure the truck is loaded with the products, tools, and equipment needed for the day.
Complete vehicle safety and job-site inspections.
Safely unload and stage materials at the job site.
Report safety, customer, or quality concerns.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned under the applicable CBAs.
