Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship program, journey card, or a minimum of 10-15 years of consistent hands-on electrical experience at a journey-level scope of work
- Proficiency in industrial electrical systems including motor controls, drives, power distribution, and machine wiring
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy required to successfully complete assignments
- Communication skills for effective interaction with clients, the engineering team, and strategic partners; interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills required
- Must be physically able to climb, lift heavy objects, work from heights, and enter confined spaces
- Able to work in hot and cold environments and in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- CDL Class A license
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at customer facilities in the Rochester area in compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and industry standards
- Perform wiring, conduit installation, motor controls, drive installation, power distribution, on machine and skid builds
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and job specifications to deliver precise, high-quality results
- Use testing equipment including multimeters, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to inspect, troubleshoot, and commission systems
- Work closely with engineers, designers, programmers, planners, and project managers to ensure successful project execution
- Participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions
- Identify and report unsafe acts or conditions immediately
- Work as a member of a cohesive team, mentoring less experienced members
- Display a high level of craftsmanship and strong work ethic in all tasks
