This is an unpaid volunteer position for individuals seeking a flexible hours engagement role to gain valuable work experience while helping further the efforts of ARO’s mission in helping victims of abuse. The role offers flexibility of working within a virtual environment and the opportunity to interact worldwide with others who share the same passion for making a difference. Volunteers can develop skill sets, engage in departmental cross-training, take on leadership roles, mentor others, or excel within their chosen vocation. ARO focuses on championing 28 areas of abuse and offers additional services including Norm Therapy® for PTSD, support for Educators, Police, Prisons, Suicide, and Military. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred).
