About The Position

GDIT is seeking candidates for its Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II program, supporting the Joint Multinational Simulation Center-Pacific. The role supports Army readiness through mission-command and collective training, leadership development, Warfighter Functions training, Delta Training, first-person simulations, and constructive simulations from squad through Echelon Above Brigade. Work includes technical integration between simulation and C4I systems, establishing and maintaining training and exercise networks, and conducting Risk Management Framework certification, accreditation, security, and risk-management activities. The JLVC Network Manager designs, plans, implements, and oversees classified and unclassified WAN and LAN networks supporting voice, data, and video services for exercises, training events, and distributed operations. The position integrates networks operated by external organizations, coordinates technical requirements and responsibilities with training sites and units, develops network architectures and plans, configures equipment, and assists with equipment and circuit installation and activation. The role also installs, configures, maintains, secures, and troubleshoots network infrastructure; maintains documentation for internal simulation networks; applies updates, patches, IAVAs, SRGs, and STIGs; configures access control lists; and establishes encrypted connections with external organizations. The manager monitors network performance and availability, conducts backups and recovery testing, reviews network requirements for compliance, and supports other network engineering projects as needed. The position is onsite at Schofield, Hawaii, with moderate travel to other customer sites throughout the Pacific Area of Responsibility.
