About The Position

The JICO serves as USSOCOM's Operations Directorate, Global Mission Support Center Command and Control Support Cell (J33 C2 Support Cell) principal technical expert by reviewing and evaluating U.S. and partner nation (PN) Tactical Data Link (TDL) and Multi-TDL Network (MTN) operations, capturing and developing Information Exchange Requirements (IER), and making recommendations for U.S. SOF-SOF PN interoperability.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle / safeguard classified information
  • BS degree; Degree can be substituted for extensive operational experience
  • Eight+ years relevant work experience
  • In-depth, working knowledge of TDL and Multi-TDL Architecture (MTA) physical and cyber configuration, organization, and operations, to include Link-16, Link 22, Mode 5 IFF, MADL, TTNT, C2BMC, GCCS, JRE, ADSI, Cross Domain Solution (CDS), etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of processes to develop and oversee TDL requirements, agreements, and Information Exchange Requirements (IERs) in a joint / coalition operational environment
  • Working knowledge of TDL / Link-16 cryptographic modernization and advanced capabilities strategies and efforts
  • Must be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (Globally in support of SOF)

Nice To Haves

  • JICO certification (Completion of JT-101 Introduction of Joint Multi-TDL (MTN) Operations Course, JT-102 Multi-TDL Advance Joint Interoperability (MAJIC) course, JT-201 Multi-TDL Planners Course, and JT-301 CAPSTONE - JICO)
  • Familiarity with Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) strategy
  • Experience working with Geographic Combatant Commands
  • Experience working and coordinating with foreign partner nations
  • Experience with high-level military staff briefings and action items
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing / briefing skills
  • Ability to support a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
