Jogger Operator- 2nd Shift

About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a jogger machine, ensuring proper setup and alignment of materials for the next production step. The operator will work closely with press and die cutter operators to ensure a smooth workflow and maintain quality standards. This position involves physical tasks such as moving pallets, inspecting materials, and operating machinery.

Requirements

  • Ability to determine next planned operation for settings and adjustments to jogger machine.
  • Ability to communicate and work with press operators or die cutter operators.
  • Ability to work with other Jogger Operators to rotate lunch and break times.
  • Ability to select appropriate pallet for next operation and scrap top sheet.
  • Ability to assure that all machines have their paper straight and aerated.
  • Ability to place stack on vibrating jogging table and engage controls to guide stack into precise alignment.
  • Ability to place stack on proper pallet for removal.
  • Ability to clearly write and display order details on each load.
  • Ability to examine sheets to detect any red marks with side guides or register variation.
  • Ability to look for obvious defects when repelling blister cards or die cut forms.
  • Ability to rotate with other Jogger Operators to maintain the baler system.
  • Must complete Final Inspection Checklist.

  • Complete Final Inspection Checklist.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
