About The Position

This role is responsible for operating a jogger machine, ensuring precise alignment of materials for subsequent processes. The operator will determine the next planned operation, make necessary settings and adjustments to the jogger machine, and communicate with press or die cutter operators to ensure timely staging of loads. Key duties include preparing materials by ensuring they are straight and aerated, placing stacks on a vibrating jogging table for alignment, and placing aligned stacks on proper pallets for removal. The operator will also be responsible for clearly writing and displaying order details on each load, examining sheets for defects such as red marks or register variations, and looking for obvious defects when repelling blister cards or die cut forms. This position involves collaboration with other Jogger Operators for break rotations and maintaining the baler system. A Final Inspection Checklist must be completed, and other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to select appropriate pallet for next operation and scrap top sheet.
  • Ability to assure that all machines have their paper straight and aerated.
  • Ability to place stack on vibrating jogging table and engage controls to guide stack into precise alignment.
  • Ability to place stack on proper pallet for removal.
  • Ability to clearly write and display order details on each load.
  • Ability to examine sheets to detect any red marks with side guides or register variation.
  • Ability to look for obvious defects when repelling blister cards or die cut forms.
  • Ability to rotate with other Jogger Operators to maintain the baler system.
  • Must complete Final Inspection Checklist.
