Requirements

  • Effective and efficient functioning of their assigned polyurethane (PU) Machine.
  • Parts coming off the line at the start of scheduled shift.
  • Material Verification Process
  • PICCI Process
  • Escalation process.

Responsibilities

  • Start up the machines in a timely manner.
  • Inspect and verify the working condition of the PU machine and its assigned tooling for ISO, Poly, hydraulic, water and air leaks.
  • Prepare and maintain the tooling for production.
  • Verify the tools are cleaned and ready to shoot.
  • Wax preparation.
  • Maintain correct machine parameter set points throughout the production shift.
  • Cross reference the check sheet posted on the line.
  • Ensure that all necessary data is correctly entered into Plex and the line white board is properly filled out and maintained.
  • Ensure that source inventories related to the molding operation are correctly labeled and maintained.
  • Ensure the assigned PU machine is producing foam that meets quality requirements and policies.
  • Perform basic maintenance on the PU machine that ensures the foam meets quality requirement and policies.
  • Ensure that parts being produced during the molding operation are correctly labeled and maintained to quality requirements and policies.
  • Alerts appropriate personnel of quality or equipment deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintains a clean work area and assists in maintaining the company 5S system.
  • Follows Creative Foam / Dayton Molded Urethanes policies and procedures and promotes the organizations safety efforts.
  • Positively reinforces production goals, standards, and work ethic in work area(s) as well as the entire facility.
  • Performs other tasks as required.
