About The Position

The Job Site Delivery Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles in compliance with state and federal laws, transporting UCX products to various locations including warehouses, distribution centers, job sites, and flooring retail centers. This role involves unloading products, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring proper documentation for deliveries and returns. The driver may also be responsible for handling cash transactions.

Requirements

• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience
• Proven communication skills to deal with customers with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy.
• Be able to maneuver heavy products using forklifts and pallet jacks if needed
• Excellent driving record

Nice To Haves

• Delivery experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles according to state and federal laws.
• Transports UCX products to warehouses, distribution centers, job sites and flooring retail centers.
• Unload or assist in unloading product from the vehicle either manually or by using forklift, hand trucks or other mechanical equipment.
• Performs miscellaneous vehicle service duties and reports any vehicle maintenance issues to the Transportation Office.
• Obtains all required signatures on paperwork for deliveries and returns to be brought back to the office.
• May be required to handle cash or equivalent.
