About The Position

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a compassionate part-time Job Coach to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed at work. The role provides one-on-one training, encourages professional growth, and supports inclusion across diverse workplace settings. The Job Coach helps participants build independence and self-sufficiency while supporting their progress toward program goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
• Strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Coach participants in learning and mastering job duties.
• Provide feedback, encouragement, and real-time skill development.
• Serve as a liaison between the participant and employer.
• Track and document progress to ensure compliance with program goals.
• Promote independence and self-sufficiency for each participant.
