About The Position

Daily duties of this position is to provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team while providing quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for. This is a hands-on position. The services that Beacon provides to our customers is dependent on the location and site needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of six months of experience working with adults with disabilities.
  • Increased technical skills related to field of work.
  • Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/First Aid/AED Certification.
  • Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Provide proof of good driving.
  • Have a valid Arizona Driver's License and pass the Beacon driving test.
  • Article IX, and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Work with, train and supervise a team of adults with disabilities.
  • Provide top of the line services for the individuals on the team.
  • Provide quality service to the customers we provide a variety of services for.
  • Write accurate, clear, and informative case notes.
  • Work, drive and travel independently to various sites.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
  • Be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Use good judgment.
  • Meet deadlines.
  • Learn and use equipment.
  • Use power tools, equipment, and machinery.
