The Job Coach position offers the opportunity to aid persons with disabilities or barriers to independence in the workforce. This role involves direct support for clients, including training, supervision, and modeling work procedures. Participants are placed in community jobs through Goodwill programs, and the Job Coach assists in teaching basic work habits and attitudes, while helping participants develop their goals and implement assigned tasks. Job Coaches adapt training strategies to fit the changing work environment and participant needs day-to-day. This position may provide transportation to program participants in a company or personal vehicle.
