About The Position

Beacon Group is seeking a patient, flexible, and dedicated Job Coach to work with, train, and supervise a team of adults with disabilities. This is a hands-on position where you will provide top-tier services for individuals on the team and quality service to the customers Beacon serves. The specific services provided will depend on the location and site needs. Beacon focuses on career development and promotion for Direct Support Professionals, emphasizing that people are at the core of everything they do. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience working with adults with disabilities.
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in field of work.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing to provide services to Behavioral Health clients referred by Arizona Complete Care Plans.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Successfully pass the drug test and background check.
  • CPR/First Aid certification, or able to obtain and maintain a CPR/ First Aid Certification.
  • Fingerprint clearance card, or able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card.
  • Provide proof of good driving.
  • Have a valid Arizona Driver's License.
  • Article IX and Prevention and Support certificate or able to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a GSA clearance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to balance, bend, stand, walk, kneel, twist, stretch, climb, and sit.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Ability to tolerate environmental conditions, such as hot, cold, wetness, dust, noise, etc.
  • Ability to work, drive and travel independently to various sites.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to use good judgment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Specialized skills and certificates such as, but not limited to: Arborist, Chemical Spraying, Landscaping Design, and Warehousing, specifically Inventory and Process Management.
