About The Position
In this role you will hand-polish inside and outside surfaces of beautiful rings or other precious metal products producing a high-quality exterior finish. The Polisher will remove all machining lines and any other surface blemishes, while maintaining weight and additional product specifications to produce a superior product.
Requirements
- High level of attention to detail
- Specific visual abilities include close vision, color, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle rings, tools and supplies
- Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds multiple times throughout shift
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn to polish through Company training
Responsibilities
- Polish all surfaces as required by the shop order
- Verify that the trade stamp is clear and legible
- Verify that the color, count and style match shop order
- Follow manufacturing practices for maintaining karat integrity by separating metals
- Keep polishing tools separated by function
- Work on shop orders by due date
