About The Position

The Jetter Operator directs the operation of the Jetter Truck and operates high-pressure jetting equipment to clean, maintain, and inspect pipes and drainage systems. The role includes safe and professional operation of the truck and equipment, inspection and routine maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, communication with team members, supervisors, and clients, and completion of required paperwork. The position may also assist with related tasks as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record; a CDL is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Jetting Operator or in a similar role.
• Possess, or be able to obtain, a valid driver’s license for the state of residence within two weeks of employment.
• Pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of basic underground utilities.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment and machines proficiently and safely.
• Ability to use time and equipment to complete projects on time.
• Mapping and print-reading skills.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with jetting equipment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure jetting equipment to clean pipes, sewers, and drainage systems.
• Operate the Jetter truck and equipment in a safe and professional manner.
• Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Jetter operations.
• Inspect and maintain jetting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during operations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, as well as routine maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Complete required paperwork properly and within set timelines.
• Assist with other related tasks as needed.
