As a dnata Jet Bridge Supervisor you have an essential role of continuously optimizing and aligning a successful and productive operation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of airport operations and procedures, particularly related to passenger boarding bridges.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Leadership skills to manage a team of jet bridge operators effectively.
  • 2+years supervisor experience preferred
  • Possess/maintain FAA/Airport required identification/seals or authorizations
  • Must be able to pass SIDA airport and training tests
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possess basic computer literacy
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Assign jet bridge operators to specific gates
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Audit and monitor agents while operating the jet bridges
  • Monitor staff performance and address any operational issues or concerns.
  • Conduct performance evaluations
  • Ensure timely positioning of jet bridges at designated aircraft gates.
  • Monitor jet bridge functionality and report any mechanical issues to maintenance teams.
  • Enforce safety procedures related to jet bridge operation, including proper positioning, securing mechanisms, and passenger flow.
  • Maintain open communication with airline gate agents, ground crew, and airport operations staff.
