About The Position

Sonata Software is seeking an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 Technical Lead with deep expertise in Orchestrator Studio, AIS Server, and integrations. The role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting orchestration-driven solutions, APIs, and real-time integrations, along with core JDE development and production support. The position is remote, with travel to the client location in Irvine, California, for one week each month. The consultant must not be based on the East Coast. The posting seeks technical consultants rather than techno-functional consultants and specifies H-1B candidates on their own W-2, Green Card holders, and U.S. citizens. The successful candidate will independently drive integration and orchestration solutions, work with functional teams to turn business processes into event-driven and API-based solutions, and mentor junior developers. Requirements

At least 15 years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience, with strong exposure to version 9.2.
Hands-on expertise with Orchestrator Studio.
Hands-on expertise with AIS Server configuration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on expertise in REST API development and integrations.
Strong knowledge of C Business Functions, Interactive Applications, UBEs, tables, Data Dictionary, FDA, and RDA.
Experience with real-time and batch integrations.
Understanding of JDE security, roles, UDOs, and orchestration security.
Strong SQL and Oracle Database knowledge.
Strong communication and requirements-analysis skills.
Ability to independently drive integration and orchestration solutions.
Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset.
Analytical and problem-solving orientation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Must be available to work from the client location in Irvine, California, one week per month; East Coast-based consultants are not sought.
Must meet one of the stated visa categories: H-1B on own W-2, Green Card, or U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing event-driven architecture using JDE Orchestrations.
Exposure to IoT Orchestrator or notifications such as email, SMS, or external-system notifications.
Experience with JDE Tools Release upgrades and ESU application.
Knowledge of Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or SCM functional domains.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 orchestrations.
Build and manage AIS services, REST APIs, and real-time integrations with external systems.
Develop and enhance orchestration components, including service requests, rules, connectors, and notifications.
Create and maintain Interactive Applications, UBEs, and C Business Functions as required to support orchestrations.
Develop and modify BI Publisher and RDA reports.
Troubleshoot and resolve orchestration, AIS, and integration issues across environments.
Optimize orchestration performance, error handling, and security.
Work with functional teams to translate business processes into event-driven and API-based solutions.
Support retrofit activities, package builds, deployments, and tools releases.
Ensure compliance with JDE 9.2 development standards and best practices.
Mentor junior developers and review orchestration and development artifacts.
Document solutions and share knowledge.
