About The Position

This role involves learning and performing all jobs within the department to provide coverage during employee breaks. The individual will learn to operate and will operate all equipment within the department to ensure continuous line operation. Key responsibilities include understanding ingredient types and locations, measuring and weighing processes, reading batch tickets, filling and stacking bags of product, lifting and moving bread loaves, performing sanitation duties, and other related tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent education, training or experience (GED)
The employee will be required to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
The employee will regularly lift, bend, push, and pull.
Mathematical and problem solving skills to successfully perform the job.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate and operates all equipment to keep the line running by operating all equipment as employees take their breaks.
Ability to perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickets.
Fills 20-40 pound bags with product and stacks them 25-50 bags per pallet.
Lifts hot 25-pound loaves of bread from conveyor and places it on the racks.
Lifts cool 25-pound loaves of bread from the racks; and place bread on a conveyor to be ground down.
Operates all department equipment.
Performs department Sanitation as needed (Dry cleaning/Wet Washing).
Performs other related duties as needed.
