About The Position
The Mixer is responsible for continuously monitoring and adjusting the product to ensure it is up to Newly Weds Foods, Inc. standards. This position is for the 3rd shift (11pm - 7am).
Requirements
- High School of GED equivalent required.
- Basic HACCP and GMP knowledge required.
Responsibilities
- Perform all phases of the mixing operation including, but not limited to, knowledge of location and types of ingredients, measuring and weighing processes, reading and understanding batch tickers.
- Make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity, without direct assistance and with minimal supervision.
- Monitor the dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in training new mixer operators and stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures.
- Assist in other work areas as directed by supervisor.
