About The Position
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java React Developer position! This is a 6-18 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY with 4 days on-site. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
Requirements
- Senior level role
- 5+ years of systems analysis and react/javascript and java application development experience
- Experience with development on a new suite of applications transitioning from .Net/Angular to React/Java architecture is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in React for front-end web development
- Solid experience with Java Microservices architecture and Spring Boot framework
- Proven experience with Azure Cloud platform and cloud-based application development
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
Nice To Haves
- Experience with .Net Core and .Net API
- Banking or financial services experience valued for domain knowledge and faster onboarding
Responsibilities
- Lead development on a new suite of applications transitioning from .Net/Angular to React/Java architecture
- Design and develop modern web applications using React and Java within Azure Cloud environment
- Build Java Microservices using Spring Boot for consumer self-service middleware programming
- Collaborate closely with Engineers and Product Owners to ensure clear technical communication and alignment
- Analyze complex system requirements and architect scalable solutions for consumer banking applications
- Direct and mentor less experienced developers on small to large scope projects
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, system documentation, and test plans
- Execute detailed testing plans including debugging and quality assurance activities
- Evaluate system interrelationships and integration points across multiple applications and platforms
- Drive project milestones and delivery dates while coordinating between application teams and business units
