About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Java Azure Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in the office for the long term. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing software applications using Java 11, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring application performance and quality, identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with emerging technologies. You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java 11 and its core libraries.
• Experience with object oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proficient in using development tools such as Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-15 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions on time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with front end technologies (e.g., Angular, React).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Scrum).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
