About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Java Kafka Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting high-performance, event-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Apache Kafka. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions, implement RESTful APIs, and ensure the performance and availability of our systems.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in software development with strong focus on Java / J2EE technologies.
• Proven experience in programming microservices-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience writing queries with Oracle and MSSQL Databases.
• Strong hands-on 8+ years of experience as Java Developer with strong Kafka expertise to design, develop, and support high-performance, event driven applications.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in AWS/Azure/GCP or Java technologies.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to SAFE Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies like OCP, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and automated testing tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java based enterprise applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Build and manage event driven systems using Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and schemas.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and resilient solutions.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate with downstream and upstream systems.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning of Kafka and Java applications.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues and solution development.
