About The Position

The Java Full Stack Developer will work in Infosys’s Communications, Media, and Technology unit as a Technology Consultant 2. The role contributes to digital transformation projects for clients in telecommunications, media, and technology. The position supports the software development lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, application design, coding and feature integration, code reviews, testing, bug resolution, user training, production support, and technical documentation. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into development tasks and integrate software solutions. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot, as well as designing, optimizing, and supporting Oracle database solutions. Preferred areas include Camunda BPM workflow automation, AI-powered development tools, and scalable, high-availability microservices.

Requirements

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Ability to ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
Experience with Oracle database solutions, including SQL/PL/SQL development, performance tuning, data integrity, scalability, and database security and engineering best practices.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Authorization to work in the United States for any employer without employer-based visa sponsorship; Infosys cannot provide immigration sponsorship for this role.

Nice To Haves

Experience implementing and supporting Camunda BPM-based workflow automation, including BPMN process modeling, orchestration, and business process optimization.
Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor, or ChatGPT for development, defect resolution, code reviews, test case generation, and technical documentation.
Experience designing scalable, high-availability microservices-based solutions.
Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications while maintaining system stability.
Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase, and maintain code repositories.
Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software applications.
Help resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Lead the design, optimization, and support of Oracle database solutions, including SQL/PL/SQL development, performance tuning, data integrity, scalability, and database security best practices.
Work across end-to-end SDLC phases, from requirements gathering through implementation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on software integration.
