About The Position

This role involves the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. The developer will work with modern frontend technologies like Angular and backend technologies including Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Microservices. Experience with cloud-native development on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential, along with a strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and software development best practices.

Requirements

8+ years of experience in Information Technology
Professional frontend and Java backend development experience
Expert-level proficiency in Angular - TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx
Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, Bootstrap and modern JavaScript (ES6)
Extensive experience with Java/J2EE design and development, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Response UI Frameworks
JQWidgets/JQuery, RESTful APIs, OAuth, IAM
Experience with Relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres), writing SQLs, SQL tuning
Experience in GCP cloud-native development: Dataflow, DataProc, Streaming, PubSub. GCP - Storage, GKE, GCE, BigQuery
Working knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD or any other similar technologies
Working knowledge of architecture frameworks, design patterns and tools
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members at various levels, including business leaders
Must have experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins)
Source code control management systems (e.g. SVN/Git, Subversion) and build tools like Maven., Jenkins
Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP, Kanban)
Software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, CI/CD)
Atlassian tooling. JIRA, Confluence
