About The Position

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is recruiting a Java Full Stack Developer for a 06+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The role is onsite in Jersey City, New Jersey, and pays $60 per hour. The developer will build and support full-stack applications using Java and cloud technologies, contribute to event-driven systems, deploy applications, and help ensure reliable and scalable solutions through monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with Java and full-stack application development.
Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application deployment.
Proficiency in Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging.
Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Splunk, and Dynatrace.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
