About The Position

This role is for a Java Developer with significant experience in automation testing. The primary focus will be on software development, with a secondary emphasis on building and executing automated tests. The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning quality as a developer, rather than functioning solely as a QA tester. This is a contract position for 6+ months in Charlotte, NC, requiring local candidates.

Requirements

• Strong Java development experience.
• Experience building applications/features.
• Object-oriented programming.
• APIs/services/backend development.
• Test automation experience.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Experience with Cucumber.
• Experience with JMeter.
• Experience with comparable automation frameworks.
• Ability to write automation code, not simply execute tests.
• Experience integrating testing into the development lifecycle/CI/CD.
• Comfortable working as a developer who owns quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop software, spending the majority of time on application/feature building.
